Circuit racing on the fastest track in the country (for cars)! Whether you’re looking to build your bike racing experience or you’ve been doing it for years, Thruxton’s wide and undulating 3.8km circuit is a great venue.
NEW for 2026!!
We are running seperate starts for a stand alone Open 4th cat race, combined Open 2/3 race and a Women’s race for all categories.
Mid week circuit racing at Thruxton offers a great opportunity for the large number of 3rd and 4th Open category riders who are keen to gain experience and build confidence to do exactly that.
We are sorry that this is a step back in terms of racing opportunities for Open E/1 riders, but with reducing numbers in these categories it is a good time to give the grassroots a chance to bloom and develop into higher category riders going forward. Hopefully we will be reintroducing Elite and 1st cat races in a year of 2 with big fields, please bare with us during this transition.
All races are timed so you just need to complete as many laps as you can in the time allocated to the race (see schedule).
In the majority of cases you will be shown a lap board that tells you have many laps left to race, starting with 3 to go, then 2 to go and then final lap, this will be joined by a ringing bell. Because there are 3 separate races on the circuit at the same time, the number boards will be colour coded for each race. If you’ve not done it before and have any questions, please drop us a message to [email protected].
