Thruxton 10k Series

Thruxton Motor Racing Circuit, Andover, Hampshire

Experience the thrill of running on the UK’s fastest race track – the iconic Thruxton Motor Racing Circuit near Andover in Hampshire.

A series of fast paced, flat and completely safe 10k events taking place in Summer evenings.

Zoom round this famous race track without having to worry about traffic, all you have to do is concentrate on keeping your legs moving. Whether you want to race hard and post a PB, or just enjoy the run and take in the famous corners of Church and Goodwood, Thruxton is the perfect environment.

Monitor your progress over the three races and challenge yourself to a PB at the finale, it’s a great way to see how your training is going. When you enter race one, there is an option to enter all three at the same time and save a few pounds, what more incentive to do you need; fast times and a saving!

Prices

*£2.00 will be added to all entrants who are not Run England/UK Athletics affiliated. Online registration closes at midnight on the Sunday before each race. 

£0.50 will be added to each online entry to contribute to the cost of the financial transaction.

**Entry on the day is only available if there is space so please contact us to check before arriving.

The series prizes

Following each race, you will be awarded series points based on your finishing position and at the end of race 3 we will have a prize presentation to celebrate the first ever Thruxton 10k Series Champions!

In addition, there will be spot prizes awarded at the prize presentation so if you’re not lucky enough to be on the podium please come along. The series standings following the final race will be sorted first by number of races completed, followed by the number of points scored. Prizes will be awarded to the following places, note that the cash values will be in vouchers for use at a running store.

Note that age-based prizes will not be awarded to runners who feature on the overall podiums, they will be awarded to the highest place runner who doesn’t feature in the overall and qualifies for the age group.

Points allocation:

  • 1st Place: 100 points
  • 2nd Place: 90 points
  • 3rd Place: 85 points
  • 4th Place: 82 points
  • 5th Place: 80 points
  • 6th place: 79 points

Each following position receives one less point.

Route details

The 10k route has been measured and certified by RunBritain. The start is approximately 1500m from the registration area and the finish is in the pitlane of the race track, 10k will see you complete two and a bit laps of the track with a water station near the finish line so is available twice in the race.

To finish the race you will run into the pit lane and under the arch where the event team will meet you with congratulations and your exclusive Thruxton 10k medal.

  • Card Machine for on the day entries

Schedule

17:30: Carpark and registration open, please do not arrive before as the carpark will not be available.

18.45: Registration closes.

19:00: Race start.

Note:

These races are non headphone events.
