Can I cancel my entry?

XTERRA MTB Weekend

Yes, a full refund will be offered on a pre-entry up to 8 weeks before race day. Cancellation requests received between 8 and 4 weeks before the event will receive a refund of 50% of the entry value (minus booking fee). Refunds requests within the final 4 weeks before the event will be at the organisers discretion.

We guarantee to refund you in full for cancellations made at least 4 weeks before the event and you will be refunded 50% of your entry fee if you need to cancel between 2 & 4 weeks before the event. If you are cancelling within 2-4 weeks you could alternatively transfer your entry to another race.

Should you need to cancel your entry within the final 2 weeks before the event we cannot guarantee your refund but you are entitled to transfer your entry to another round of the SouthernXC or in the case of a Duathlon to another Duathlon, if your original entry is to the final event of the year and there are no events available to enter in the following year we will refund you as much of your original entry as we can afford.

What happens if Eventrex need to cancel an event?

The below applies to all TrailX branded events, and the XTERRA MTB Weekend

Should Eventrex UK need to cancel an event please be assured that we will have been forced to by circumstances outside of our control, examples of this are listed below, this list should not be considered exhaustive and is subject to review at any time;

• Adverse weather that could affect your safety
• A state of war
• An act of God
• Announcement by a sports Governing Body (BTF, UKA, BC, etc) cancelling such events
• Loss of the venue
• Announcement by the Government cancelling such events

If this should happen, we will always attempt to reschedule the event in the first instance and you will be offered a transfer to its revised date. If you are unable to attend the revised date you will be offered a transfer to another Eventrex UK event of the same value, or if you want to enter a more expensive event, we will send you a link enabling you to pay the difference.

If you are unable to attend any of the offered events and would like to request a refund please send us a message to [email protected] outlining all of the information and we will review the request with a view of refunding you as much of your entry fee as possible. Sadly, we do not have sufficient surplus funds to guarantee that 100% of your entry will be returned. However, we will return to you what is available after any outstanding costs directly associated to your entry after non-cancellable commitments have been cared for, we will not profit from a cancelled event if any participant is out of pocket.

Any decision made by Eventrex UK to cancel the event will not be made lightly.
