Get ready for an adventure in the stunning South Downs National Park, with our single-loop, mixed-surface, off-road run! Choose between half marathon and 10km race options.
Even though there are some hills to tackle, both distances are perfect for those new to trail running. The routes are easy to navigate and well-supported, running through a private estate, so no worries about other trail users – just you and the great outdoors.
TrailX has crafted this event to give you an unforgettable off-road running experience – expect a celebratory high-five and a exclusive medal from our event team at the finish line. Then kick back post race, soak up the sun, cheer on your fellow runners and indulge in some delicious food from the onsite catering!
Distances, Prices and Start Times
10km
Age 16+ years. Start time: 10:00. On the day entry: £35.
21km Half Marathon
Age 18+ years. Start time: 10:05. On the day entry: £45.

All entries will be subject to a 3% admin fee. Online Registration is available until 24th June 2026.

The Course
Both race distances take you across diverse terrain using gravel tracks, grassy paths, and woodland trails.
The start and finish are set on a wide gravel section, with steep grassy banks providing a great vantage point for spectators. Runners will embark on an 8km loop from the starting line before returning to begin the next segment. The remaining 13km of the half marathon leads through dirt trails in wooded areas, open paths ways, and speedy gravel roads.
Although not a multi-lap race, you’ll revisit certain sections during the half marathon, adding a sense of familiarity as you progress.
The 10km route shares the same path until the 9km mark, where it then heads back toward the finish line.
